The Chapter regularly invests in and receives IA-related books and publications. Courtesy of the management and partners, the books are now available for browsing and loan at B.R. de Silva & Co. (address: 22/4 Vijaya Kumaranatunga Mawatha, Colombo 5) during normal office hours (i.e. Mondays – Fridays, 9 am – 5 pm). When opening the list of books, click ‘read-only’ to open the EXCEL file. The list will be updated from time-to-time when new resources are available.

Currently, only members are allowed to access the books. Members should contact Ms. Naayila Marikkar to enquire about the availability of the books/CDs. Please show your membership card issued by The IIA when collecting the books/CDs from B.R. de Silva & Co. Resources can be reserved upto 1 week, thereafter, they will be released to the next person. Resources should be returned to B.R. de Silva & Co. by the end of 2 weeks from the date of picking up the books/CDs. The Chapter Office-bearers decided not to impose a penalty system currently but reserve the right to do so if the situation goes out-of-hand.

Members are most welcomed to suggest to Ms. Naayila Marikkar new additions that they wish to see in the library. The acquisition would depend on the financial status of the Chapter to be approved at monthly Chapter meetings.
