The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) – Sri Lanka Chapter, and AAT Sri Lanka was held on November 6th, 2025, at the Head Office of AAT Sri Lanka.

The MoU was signed by Mr. Muzawwir Manzeer, President of IIA Sri Lanka, and Mr. Indraka Liyanage, President of AAT Sri Lanka. The event was graced by several esteemed dignitaries, including Ms. Kushani Coswatte (Chairperson – Advocacy Committee, IIA Sri Lanka), Mr. Surantha Jayatilake (Executive Committee Member, IIA Sri Lanka), Mr. Tishanga Kumarasinghe (Chief Executive Officer, AAT Sri Lanka), Mr. Emil Ranasinghe (Chairman – Education & Training Committee, AAT Sri Lanka), Ms. Nimali Ekanayake (Chief Academic Officer, AAT Sri Lanka), and Mr. Nalaka Kumara (Assistant Manager – Education & Training Division, AAT Sri Lanka).

The MoU aims to establish areas of mutual cooperation between AAT Sri Lanka and IIA Sri Lanka, focusing on supporting the professional interests and development of the members of both institutions.
